I think most of the hate comes from the fact that industrial and the left isn't in right now.
It's fine if you don't like it but think about whether it's really Al that has changed or maybe just your taste.
Maybe when the political landscape starts to cool down again people will start to realize that Minsitry has been doing this kind of music and message for a really long time now and will appretiate this album for the solid release it actually is.

I just wanted to point out that they're kicking america's ass economically right now despite having a communist government, and to demonstrate that socialism obviously can't be an inherently failed economic system if there's a socialist economy that's kicking the ass of the most powerful capitalist economy in the world. If you want an example of a more democratic society that adopted some aspects of socialism then look at the nordic social democracies. There's nothing inherently authoritarian about socialism. It's all in the way it's been implemented under the specific historic, political and economic conditions. Just like you can have capitalist economies with fascist dictatorships on one end, and parliamentary democracies on the other, you can also have extremely authoritarian socialist societies like Soviet Union, or completely libertarian ones like for example anarchist communes in Catalonia during the Spanish civil war. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that you should exhibit some nuance when looking into complicated issues.

Btw, I mentioned Somalia in order to illustrate how stupid it is to point to the failed examples of something as if that failed example is the rule. Just as there's a bunch of socialist economies that failed, there's also a shit ton of capitalist countries all around the world where the majority of people still live in abject poverty. Of course you'll believe that socialism in all its shapes and forms is failure If you just point to Venezuela and repeat anti socialist propaganda without looking into other factors that contributed to its failure, like for example US imposed sanctions and US interference and sabotage. It's interesting how people who want to praise capitalism and bash socialism would never point to countries like Somalia, Brazil, Honduras or El Salvador as prime examples of capitalism, but will always point to Soviet Union, Cuba or Venezuela as prime examples socialism, instead of pointing to successful Nordic social democracies, or even China which has a growth rate double and triple that of the USA depending on the year, and where workers' wages have increased multiple times over the last decade, in contrast to the USA where, adjusted for inflation, wages have been stagnant for several decades. There's a country with a communist government that's kicking America's ass economically right now.
