Great video
Perfect for this video.
What breaks my heart is seeing all this magnificent energy given out to us his fans while HIV was eating his insides bits and bits and he was as lively as ever! But like modern days artists would go out of the lights if they just happen to have flu or simpler issues than Freddie's! RIP Freddie, I wish I witnessed your existence🙏🏻🌸
i: *turn sound on 100 in headphones, youtube, and in computer* BREEEEEEEEEEAKTHRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
When love breaks up
When the dawn light wakes up
A new life is born
Somehow I have to make this final breakthrough
Now
I wake up
Feel just fine
Your face
Fills my mind
I get religion quick
'Cause you're looking divine
Honey, you're touching something; you're touching me
I'm under your thumb, under your spell, can't you see?
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough, oh yeah
Break through these barriers of pain
Break through to the sunshine from the rain
Make my feelings known towards you
Turn my heart inside and out for you now
Somehow I have to make this final breakthrough
Now, oh yeah
Your smile speaks books to me
I break up
With each and every one of your looks at me
Honey, you're starting something deep inside of me
Honey, you're sparking something this fire in me
I'm outta control
I want to rush headlong into this ecstasy
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
Oh yeah
Breakthrough, breakthrough
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
Breakthrough
Freddie's smile😍
It starts with an HIV infection and shows no symptoms initially, but over the course of about 4 years gradually worsens until it becomes Advanced HIV, and then “full blown AIDS”. From there, it’s another 3-4 years of gradual decline until death. It’s an 8 - 10 year course, not anything that happens within 1 year.
It’s slow, and very debilitating and painful for about the last 2 years.
1980 queens the best
1990 queens the best
2018 queens the best
3018 queen will always be the best don't stop him now
And....who determines what genius is and what isn't? What you're comparing here are two different things anyway. Both genius, but it's not possible to say "complexity is more genius than simplicity in music".
For example...you can consider something genius for being simple and at the same time creating the effect it should. That's what Mozart often did. Not always, but sometimes. Taking a really simple idea that immediately creates the effect it should.
In that case you're admiring the finesse of the artist to do exactly what it needs to create the wished for effect with simple tools. At the same time you can admire music that's extremely complex, because it's difficult to create good music that's complex and still bearable. Take Bach's fugues as an example. The "Art of the fugue" is music so complex, yet beautiful and effect-creating that it can only be considered genius. Bach like no other put together music that is incredibly complex. Just look at the well-tempered piano. Admirable what he did. And genius.
What you're arguing here is music philosophy and unless you actually studied musicology I don't think you're in the place to tell other people they have to "learn more" in order to grasp what genius is. Or that they're wrong viewing complex music as genius. Your argument of genius being present only in musical simplicity is immediately refuted by Bach's music alone.
You're thinking way too limited here. Both things *can* be genius I think, but on a different level.
Enjoy your stay
I miss Freddie

I wish he had lived forever
the first half minute was originally "A New Life Is Born," an unreleased song written by Freddie Mercury. The remainder of the song is "Breakthru," written by Roger Taylor with some contributions from the rest of the band. Freddie Mercury said, "Breakthru stemmed from Roger, really; it's basically his track."
Roger Taylor's girlfriend Debbie appears in the clip.
The train traveled anywhere between 30 and 60 MPH during filming, which meant the band had to be insured (to the tune of £2 million!) against bodily damage in event of an accident, especially considering they were filming on an open-top carriage.
