I saw them on that tour in Gijón (Spain), June 1995, and it was spectacular, as great as ever. Nobody in this fuckin' world can match them on stage.
As for the Stones, they left behind their beautiful songs while touring , such as Back Street Girl, I am Waiting ,Child of the Moon, and all of the great songs of Their Satanic Majesties Request. They only play She's a Rainbow, after a contest made it happen. They have been pretty boring after Sticky Fingers . The Bunnymen have just as many great songs as the Stones.
Ok, i believe you, I'm sorry.
i just jumped on the "left for dead" part for some reason...
- a solid, retro-sounding album
- mischievously spooky album artwork and aesthetic
- an AMAZING Mark Fisher stage design
- Mick's awesome Baron Samedi outfit
- killer live shows
They were really firing on all cylinders in '94-'95.
