watching this video and thinking back in 2011 i think this people there would never imagine that this girl would get sooo succefull worldwide like she got at 2013 xD proud of this girl so much, she deserves! shes unique and her music just wow... and violin.. was always my dream but i never got the chance to learn how to play it :) love her style and everything *-* and dance while playing.. wow.. such skills Lindsey! I would not doubt it but I dont know, though she is trained in dance and the violen, and finnaly I heard shatter me on the radio and not just on mtv or by choice seeking on youtube, it was also the last song before midnight tonight which spelled my birthday today so last song of 33 and its not a bad choice.

+Moonshade Chick she herself is also trained in ballet and dance and I mean quite a bit, though she hops and struts around almost like that one fiddle player from irish women that would almost do step dance while sawing her fiddle. I also think lindsy is kind of cute but remindes me of another actor named sara strange that played on stargate sg1 as morgan le fey lindsey remindes me of her in the face a bit.

Asteroid Belt This is a playback. If you look closely, you can see bow movements don't match with the music. But yeah she is very good at playing violin while dancing.

Not trying to take away the fact that she's an amazing multi-talented entertainer, but lets make one thing clear: The violin we're hearing is not from the performance we're watching. 0:22-0:29 is the most obvious proof of a prerecording. Watch her bow movements...not exactly matching up to the music right? Still an amazing performer, and maybe she was actually playing for the audience, I just know the track we're listening to on youtube isn't the same.
I don't blame her either, it would be impossible to play perfectly when you're dancing around that much.

+Haywood Jablome sorry dude u must listen the original video again it's just a little mistake in edited sound bacground it's like they make mistake in 0:22-0:26 it's like the sound is jump from 1 track to another track , i think the violin play is live but the sound background the "dubstep,etc"they take from original song u can still meet the defferences from this performance with the original song u can compare it the whole performance with the original it's completely differences.sometimes they make technical error like this. (sorry my english is bad)

Honestly I think the main thing is that most people don't care so long as its a good production, they only care if there is a blatant F up that breaks the immersion. If it looks good and sounds good and if any variation is small enough to where the average person doesn't see it then they don't care. Heck there are a lot of artists that are great recorded but meh live and some that are great live and meh recorded, only time people are going to care about your point is say during a live show she catches an edge falling and breaking the violin while the music continues to play regardless.
I am not going to agree or disagree with you, I don't play any bowed instrument and would not know what is or isn't possible with each movement. I am just saying that wither live or pre recorded it doesn't matter if its a good show, heck doing illusions is an entire profession in itself with "magicians", people all know that its a trick but they are entertained by the illusion of magic.
