+Veidere Игрок Да я сам, можно сказать, практически гопник был)) Бритый с цепурой до пупа в "адике" китайском!)) Я на крайнем севере родился и рос, а там контингент мягко говоря - сложный... Харп, Воркута с одной стороны, с другой Лобытнанги, Тобол, Тюмень... С патлами в косухе там в то время ходить, было смерти подобно)) В общем, как волк в овечьей шкуре. С братвой слушал Кучина, Новикова и Шуфика, а дома Металлику, Слэйер и Крейторов с Тиаматом)) Сейчас конечно уже все поменялось, но "старые песни о главном" в исполнении Хэтфилда, Арайа и Эдлунда слушаю до сих пор с удовольствием!

One of the best and most underrated bands in the world. Doom/prog whatever you want to call it to me Tiamat are their own Genre and they are awesome. Cheers to all!

On his recent album, I believe he was bald with a tattoo on the back of his head, musicians change with the times, Fenriz from Darkthrone has a long Ass Beard nowadays, but still has his long hair.

Exelente tema. Conozco poco de Tiamat y esta rola es un buen comienzo;sin embargo existen discrepancias entre el viejo Tiamat y el nuevo, es como si nos ponemos a dialogar sobre el Viejo Samael y el de ahorita yo prefiero el old school death metal Samael.

I burned the Tiamat "Clouds" and Cemetary "Godless Beauty" albums onto the same CD, and just left it in my car CD player for a good, long time - the two albums complement each other rather well.
I can't rightly say I cared much for the later Cemetary albums, but the first couple (especially "Evil Shade of Grey" and "Godless Beauty") were quite decent (and each new Tiamat album has always been a treat, whether they're doing black metal, death metal, doom metal, psychedelic rock, goth/death rock, post metal, darkwave, or whatever else is on Edlund's mind at any given point in time! I think the only Tiamat songs to ever leave me a bit cold was the stuff they did back when they were still calling themselves Treblinka in the early '80s....)

you are quite right. i find that the 2000s metal is much more poppier. it is easier to listen to in the beginning but its not as good as the 90s stuff in the end.
