I know that the track "open letter to myself" was written by sam.. like I said. it'd be pointless to argue. but I thought I'd just chime in with that. Also I've heard tom mention, that during recording on all of their albums. certain riffs that he had written on his laptop weren't fitting. and in those times and others. dan and ali changed bits and pieces.. the rest of the band ofcourse all say that he wrote everything

Lol how could BMTH be a wannabe Architects if Count Your Blessings and Suicide Season were both out before Hollow Crown? Count Your Blessings was out before Ruin too and I find difficoult to believe that BMTH were inspired by Architects, that were less famous than them. Anyway, I love both bands and they are awesome the same

Their new shit is definitely better. Royal Beggars makes this look sloppy. Much like Oh Sleeper, they've perfected what makes them amazing. It might not be as heavy, but it's better overall.

I found out this band right when SikTh broke up. Now SikTh is back with a new album and this band has gone generic, nothing but chugging guitar work with a little of atmosphere at times with political/social lyrics. Nostalgia.
