@blindcynic If Jeff joined megadeth, then nevermore probably wouldn't have existed, and all the amazing songs on rust in peace and countdown to extinction and all the great nevermore albums may not have existed. Just like if dave mustaine never got kicked out of metallica, then there'd be no megadeth, and the classics from most of the great metallica albums would have been different. Stuff happens for good reasons.

@RageDeth Well i don't think Mustaine fucked up. Firstly, their lifestyle was crazy. Drugs, bitches, booze, that was too much for a 16year old boy, even Loomis, I think. Then, they got Friedman, who is one of the best players ever, and played most of the greatest Megadeth songs, and contributed to their huge success. Finally, it allowed Loomis to play with Dane, and they formed NEVERMORE! :D Which is the best metal band today, in my opinion, with Dream Theater and Opeth.
