Listened to a podcast with Greg Brooks (Queen archivist) where he explained how much detail the producers went to, from wanting to know what brand of cigarettes the band smoked to the colour of their socks in shows in 1976 .So if they were so fussy about attention to detail, how could they stand over such bad timeline stuff like We Will Rock You being recorded by a moustachioed Freddie in 1980?

I saw it yesterday ❤️ In Slovakia... man you were amazing and because of the story i cried about 4 times during that film... it was such a beautiful experience

I went to see the film last night. I did not have great expectations of the film and in part that was because of what the band meant for me. I was 13 when Queen released their first single and they were like nothing else that was around, they changed my expectations of music and they defined a new era. So for me Queen just was. So the thought of the story being told with someone else in the 'staring role' of the greatest frontman of all time, considering the documentaries that have already been done, just didn't seem right. How wrong could I have been? It was simply outstanding, and the lead role was played superbly, suffice to say that at the end of the film there was a spontaneous round of applause throughout the cinema on what was a very emotional, interesting and amusing evening.

I saw the movie and, oh god. I cried. I stayed till the end to dry up my tears with the rest of my family. After the credits it was silent as we all sat there drying our eyes and sniffing. If you haven’t seen Bohemian rhapsody.... For. The. Love. Of. Freddie. Go and see it. There are probably some historically incorrect events here and there and some important bits of his life skimmed over, but it has all the emotion of Bohemian rhapsody in it.
Starts of slow. Gets a bit emotional. Rocks out. And then leaves you depressed. D; so sad 😞

This movie, whilst it might not be accurate as far as the timeline etc goes, captures the essence of what the band and Freddie were all about . It reminds us all of one of our unrepeatable rock giants and in my humble view, one of the greatest live performances ever seen. Having lived through all of this and watched that Live Aid performance on TV at the time, it certainly hit the spot. Well done Rami Malek for taking on a role that he would know would be to be under the microscope all the way, and for the team behind this project.

So much love and respect for Rami, Freddie and everyone else involved in the band and the movie. Even though there were a few factual inaccuracies it's one of my favourite films of all time and I really appreciate all the work and effort that went into it all. So, so much talent in that production!

I rarely go to the cinema now because of injuries, last movie I watched at the cinema was Fury (2014), but I had to see this! Saw an advanced screening on Sunday and I loved it. OK I accept that it is not historically correct in every detail, but I didn't go to see that. I went to hear some GREAT music and get a little more insight into Freddy and the band. After seeing Mr. Robot I wasn't sure how Rami would go... Freddy left behind some pretty big shoes to fill, but I think Rami did a damn good job - the rest of the actors playing the band were well cast too. I was lucky enough to see Queen in Melbourne in the 80's. Best concert I have ever seen. This movie let me relive those good old days. Freddy, you are missed and you have left behind a musical legacy that I hope at least some of today's youth learn to appreciate. R.I.P. Freddy, you will live in the hearts of millions.

I just love his speaking voice idk why. Also, the movie was absolutely amazing! Definitely my favorite movie ever. Of course I've always liked Queen's music, but i got a whole new appreciation for them after seeing the movie. Since i watched it I've been obsessed with Queen. I loved this film and cannot wait to watch it again. I've known Queens whole story and music growing up, but seeing the whole story (well 75% of it) put together in one feature was awesome. I wished they referenced the Queen II album though. I got the impression from the film that Queen were not overly creative until Night At The Opera. My only criticism
