yet another band sound like whole other bands. you can find dozens like them on Spotify’s new metal tracks list. Everyday a new one added. and those ones are selected by spotify. you can add indie bands to it and there we have meaningless same “thing” pile. Aren’t you sick of signing these clone bands already?

+Noah McCoy Even if he did bother it woul'nd matter...just another stuck in the past technical nazi...I laughed when he stated its for kids...I'm 43 grew up listening to all the old school bands when they came out in the late 80's and spent literrally 10's of thousands of $$$ on metal, at least 1000 CDs and over 700 digital purchases on bandcamp...I love the new generations take on extreme metal and I honeslty got over that whole 80's, 90's and 2000's era metal...I think these newer bands are much better for the future of the genre...no matter what metal is a small community and none of these bands are rich and we should support anybody that doe'nt produce hip hop or mainstream fuckery...

Ya I mean there's lots of technical musicians who are robotic, but have no feeling whatsoever. I don't think many people are blown away by this at all, I mean maybe some, but they probably aren't musicians themselves, let alone technically creative ones at that, but it's still good. It's certainly not djent, lol. It serves it's purpose though. Not every project or musical endeavor needs to be something new or needs to redefine the genre of metal itself. Whatever their reasoning, getting signed and management directing, member changes, or just wanting something simpler for whatever reason, it was their choice. But you stated they "just bought a Strandberg and an Axe FX II", but no he didn't. He's been playing technically for many years and is a pretty solid guitarist. I think a lot of Abolish the Echelon's material was pretty catchy man. Definitely not the best, not the best guitarist out there, but... It's still good, and he's still good, lol. But he didn't just buy a Strandberg and an Axe FX II last month, lol. What do you listen to? Always love to pick another metal heads brain and learn new music!
