Wow Blake! Good ole George Jones... I LOVE that you know where you came from and LOVE the greats that influenced and came before you. The low tones in Blake's voice seriously buckle my knees :) Keep it up! Can't wait for the next song off this Heroes session! Am truly hoping an album is coming soon with these covers. There is no one like Blake and I am so proud to be a fan to the end! Yabba Dabba Doo!

LOL. I think it's hilarious! But, some of these old songs are definitely an "acquired" taste if you're not much into this sound. It's okay. I about tripped over my myself to get it downloaded and haven't stopped listening to it since. I do agree with you though - Blake sounds REALLY GOOD! He can sound so traditional country when he wants to.... Music is so awesome. Something for every mood :)

I think he’s doing a set of all country songs that are suppose to be funny-like Tequila Shelia. I use to listen to George Jones-but don’t remember this one. Blake is just joking around with some of the funny songs from that past. That’s kinda his sense of humor. I know he’s laughing at releasing these old songs.
