read the book "tales from beneath your mom" it explains this song. its about when they were on tour and the weather was really shit so they named it the shitty weather tour. also mark was missing his girlfriend loads so he wrote this song about how lonely he felt.

This is what happened this bully his this guys school picked on him every day for 2 years and he ended up commiting suciside but he wrote a really long letter telling the school, parents everyone that it wasnt anyones fault except the bullys and then the perents wrote a letter to Blink 182 to say how he loved their music and they wrote this

in Tales From Beneath Your Mother Blink-182 offical boigraphical book it states that marks claims this song is about being on tour and contemplating throwing everything away to go home. He added a sort of suicidal spin to it to make it more relatable and interesting.
