This song is very interesting for one reason, if you are on fire, it makes you feel even more on fire but if you are sad or nostalgic makes you feel that way.

You know why I love Mylo Xyloto? Not because of the music or instrumentals, it's because it's positive. Sure, Coldplay's other music is amazing, but this album just drips with positivity and inspiration, and that's something that sets it apart.

I do not know what to say about coldplay. You know, when I first heard 'Paradise', it was beautiful, and then I started to dream, creating expectations for my life. Knowing more about coldplay I came across '' Charlie Brown '' , and it was wonderful, a new phase for me. Until today I hear this song, it's beautiful.

Yo entiendo el dolor que pasas, yo entiendo la tristeza que te acompaña todas esas noches que has llorado por que alguien te ha lastimado. Y no, yo sé que no es una exageración, no es drama.
Yo comprendo, las personas no ven la capacidad que tiene de dañar a los demás con unas cuantas palabras, ellos no saben lo que está pasando por tu mente en esos intastes. Ellos no saben qué es lo que te ha pasado anteriormente... Ellos simplemente no saben por qué tu espiritu es débil, por qué esa autoestima que te esfuerzas por fingir elevada no es lo que aparentas.
Yo sé que una persona puede dañarte o herirte con unas cuantas palabras, con unas cuantas acciones, y no puedes mostrarlo en público por que te diran "¿por eso lloras?" "No hagas drama" "No es para tanto" lo que ellos no comprenden es que para ti sí es para tanto, por que te importa, por que te lastima.
Bien dicen que la baja autoestima, la depresión no tiene rostro, es silenciosa. Tú frente al resto puedes ser muy alegre, el alma de la fiesta incluso, bueno con los demás viviendo tu vida aparentemente "feliz y normal" pero ¿Cuántas veces te has tenido que encerrar sólo para poder llorar? ¿Cuántas noches te has acostado con los ojos desbordados de lagrimas con la cabeza llena de ideas fatales? ¿Cuántas veces has tenido que tragarte ese nudo en la garganta? ¿Cuántas veces no te has reprochado por no ser "suficiente"? Todo esto solo o sola, y ¿Por qué? Porque la sociedad sólo diria: "solo lo hace por llamar la atención" "se ahoga en un vaso de agua"... No generalizo, porque no todos piensan así, algunos lo han vivido por experiencia propia, con amigos, familiares.
Son situaciones que se sufren en silencio, u otros que sí lo expresan pero "solo quieren llamar la atención" ¿no?

Sólo quiero decirles, que yo los entiendo, entiendo ese horrible sentimiento, esa horrible sensación de sentirse solo, aunque realmente no lo estés.
Sólo quiero decirles que no es malo llorar, desahoguense todo lo que quieran, lloren, griten pero después de eso no se vuelvan a dejar lastimar, sigan siendo unas excelentes personas sin dejarse pisotear de nuevo.

Aprendamos a tomar las cosas de quien vienen, aprendamos a razonar lo que decimos, por que no sabemos el daño que podemos causar a los demás.

I was having a hard time finding who I was. Just turned 20 and suddenly it hit me that my childhood is over. Late, I know. I then listened to Coldplay by accident one day and this song came up. Suddenly I just had the urge to fight through what I faced. So I did. I am going to the gym now, finishing up my assignments without procrastination. Coldplay has helped me see that there's still beauty unseen by a child. Being an adult can be a wonderful advanture as well. So now, I plan to only progress from here. To reach new heights. Thanks, ColdPlay and my other angels.

In February 2016 I joined the Air Force to become a fighter pilot, the dream of my life, but it was just too much to stand and I quit. I heard this song on the bus going back home the day I quit and it was the worst moment of my life. I spent an entire year preparing myself mentally and physically, thinking every day and every night in the Academy,.. And here I am today, looking at pictures of myself in Uniform and listening to this song again. I made it, I managed not to give up this time. Lesson: You are *NEVER* out of the fight.

Essa música me lembra tantos momentos bons, porque sempre que ouvia essa música eu iria fazer algo bom, alguma viagem alguma festa. Porque a vibe que essa música tem é surreal, agora quando volto aqui pra ouvi-lá eu choro muito!!!!!! Não sei bem se e alegria ou tristeza mas adoro essa música!!!!! Like a lot of songs they put out, it makes me feel like I’m entering a reality my consciousness can’t keep up with. In this song I could picture a young girl smiling while she plays in a flower garden. I could just as easily picture a lone survivor of a crash, screaming in horror as he stares at the bodies of his family, tears streaming down his face. I could just as easily imagine an elderly veteran walking through a park full of cherry blossoms. I don’t know how they do it. Same goes for passion pit. Either it’s music they must have come up with in a dream or a fucking angel came from the sky and gave it to them.

When I first bought Mylo Xyloto when it released, I fucking hated it, save for a few amazing tracks, such as Us Against the World & Up in Flames. Funny how your perception of music can totally 180 in just a few years. I rank this album on par with Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends & A Rush of Blood to the Head now. Tracks like this one, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, and Don't Let it Break Your Heart are so ridiculously happy and uplifting that it's unreal. I'm so glad I can love this album now. I was a real close-minded 16 year old when it came to music back in 2011.

This song is beautiful, it's so positive and entertaining. The ending of the song reminds me of Charlie Brown, a remade version of the "Christmas Time Is Here" music from the Charlie Brown Christmas Show. In my opinion, that's the music that relates to the title :)

I think the song and the video is about being young and living in the moment. To live life to the fullest with no regrets, to take chances. We are only young once so enjoy it while it lasts with friends and loved ones. Some friendships last forever but many fade away and life moves on.
